    How Does This Work?

Raise This Up is a new type of web site that leverages user-generated content.

Rather than having an editor pick the articles you read, you and other members choose and promote articles anywhere on the web.

Articles are submitted by a registered users. Others click "Raise This Up" to vote for the article if they find it to be interesting or useful. This process allows the good articles rise to the top, providing interesting content to all readers.

"Raise This Up" is a form of crowdsourcing. "Crowdsourcing" is a term coined by Wired magazine writer Jeff Howe and editor Mark Robinson in June 2006. Crowdsourcing relies on multiple volunteers who use their spare time to create content, solve problems, or do research.

    Submitting an article:
     1. First, find a Christian article on the internet that you enjoy or might be inspirational to others.
     2. Come to Raise This Up and click "Submit A New Article".
     3. Cut and paste the link to the article, then add a short title and description.
     4. Other visitors will read the article you submitted, and if they like it, they will vote for it.
     5. Over time, the best articles will make their way to the top, ensuring interesting reading for all!
